Why Should You Be Using an All-Natural Lube?

Special thanks to Kaylyn Easton of Chiavare all-natural lubricant for contributing this guest blog for our readers! We recommend Chiavare as a lubricant and personal moisturizer for clients wanting an all-natural, vegan product.

We are all sexual beings. It’s the one thing, other than death and taxes, I can guarantee.

Each person on this huge earth falls into one of three categories:

  1. Still too young, but will someday have sex
  2. Currently sexually active
  3. Not sexually active, but wants to be.

If you’re one of those people thinking, “Well what about priests and nuns and those who practice abstinence?” Okay — you caught me. 0.0000001% of the world’s population falls into the abstinence category.

The rest of us 7 billion people are having sex, want to have sex, or will have sex someday. So it always surprises me the way we approach it like a taboo topic not to be discussed.

Why Should You Be Using A Natural Lube?

In her lifetime, a woman can expect at least one of the following sexual health issues to occur (oftentimes several): discomfort during intercourse, thinning vaginal walls, dryness, irritation, itching, menopause symptoms, endometriosis symptoms, cramping, periods, PMS, bleeding, yeast infections, pregnancy, childbirth, and so much more.

Those issues don’t even account for the regular sexual health aspects such as partner connection, STDs, intimacy, vulnerability, hairy butt-cracks, and trying to be “sexy” after you’ve eaten a plate of spaghetti and downed two glasses of wine.

See my point? We are all experiencing the same. exact. things.

I’m lucky to have grown up in a household where the human body and sexual health were both discussed with casual normalcy. My mom’s approach to sexuality provided not only a safe place for me to ask questions and learn, but also the confidence to treat my sexual health like any other aspect of wellness.

Don’t ignore your sexual health.

When thinking of a holistic approach to life, one that encompasses mind, body, and spirit — don’t ignore sexual health. If you think about it, sexual health is one of those rare experiences that impacts all three.

Because sexual health is a sacred space, both personally and for humans as a whole, what we invite into that space is just as important.

Toxins, chemicals, and pollutants flood our bodies every single day. Don’t even get me started on those chemical names so long we can’t even pronounce them (phthalates, anyone?). We can’t even begin to understand the effects these things have on our bodies.

Sexual health is an easy opportunity to be pure, clean, and all-natural.

That’s why I believe using a chemical-free, all-natural lube is so important.  What you put down there matters, so pick a lube that uses ingredients you can easily pronounce. One that also provides holistic skin care and sexual health benefits is a bonus!

Sure, I’m totally biased about Chiavare — but there’s a reason I created it.

I’ve struggled personally with stage IV endometriosis. I’ve listening to my mom and her friends talk about the changes after menopause. And I’ve watched my own girlfriends start having babies and seeing their sexual health totally alter.

I knew I could create a solution for women in all stages of life.

Use natural lube.

Chiavare is a vegan, all natural lube and personal moisturizer made with just six ingredients: coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, grapeseed oil, almond oil, evening primrose oil, and vitamin E.

Each ingredient has been specifically chosen for their holistic benefits. Chiavare is so pure that’s it’s also edible! My mantra is if I can’t put it in my body, why would I put it on my body?

Both men and women are loving Chiavare as a natural lube for sex. But it is also great as a daily personal moisturizer for any of the sexual health issues mentioned above.

Do your research. Know what you are putting on your body and in your body. Keep your sexual space clean, pure, and full of fun.

And remember, you are worth the best!
